Babe where do i begin really shouldn't be havin to write this. carla you were my good friend for years we used to have our girly nites out n our chats. we met when we started work at the same place 14 years ago.i left to have my 1st child we saw eachother every now and again then i got the dreaded news you had breast cancer so i came to see you.you had your chemo and your lump and lymph glands removed but this was not enough the horrible thing spread every where and we lost you sunday 7th october.you leave behind your lovely 2 little girls tilly and octavia, your lovely mum and dad ,your loving partner paul, your brother's and sister kaz and the rest of your great family.GODDESS as you liked to be known we are truly gonna miss you. we love you .you were 1 in a million even though you were going through this you still sent us all your joke text messages GODDESS you were and always will be my great friend xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

To My Friend Carla, I've been wanting to write this ever since your brother Gary told me there was memorial site for you.. So here it is.. I'll never forget you Carla, you float into my memory everytime the name Braunstone gets mentioned, because thats where i had my best days of my life, on Wilmore Cresent with you as my best friend... I always remember the 1977 street party on wilmore cresent, the people at the top of the street were singing "elgar's land of hope and glory" while at the other end of the street we heard "god save the queen" by the sex pistols, which was far clearly a more pronoun tune.. even today when i hear that tune, it takes me back to memory’s of wilmore.. Also i distinctly remember when we skipped school on a Monday once from corkey, then when we got caught by your Mom, then we blamed each other... It was a crap place to skive though wer'nt it, I mean outside the shops on Heyford.... Derrrrr.. I was so sad when we left wilmore in 1981, i just thought i'd never see my best friend again, but i did still & come over and stay at yours whenever i got the chance.. I remember your mom & dad taking us up the club on cantrell rd.. You always had mushey peas from the canteen with loads of vinegar, it was well grosse...
I just want to apoligise for not coming to see you when you was ill Carla, my cousin had just passed with the same cancer a year before i found out you was ill.. i just could'nt handle the pain of seeing it all over again.
I said to Gary that i have a coulpe of photo's of you, one is of you walking in your garden @ 25 Wilmore, damn i still remember the post code le3 1sw, i is so ranom with stuff like that.. the other photo is of me & you at your mom & dads house a couple of years before you became ill, for some reason i'm holding a snooker cue in my hand, i think i was playing a game of pool with your nephew at the time..
Anyway Carla Williams i hope your having loads of fun up there in heaven, i'll come and see you when it's my time to leave this rock of a planet..
